Elizabeth Zahn is a Long Island, NY based writer.

She writes short fiction, essays and sometimes poetry.

She’s also drafted two novels, both coincidentally set on boats. One’s a romance, the other historical fiction, both in need of serious work…someday.

When she’s not writing she’s spoiling her senior cat, hiking, traveling or enjoying a good meal and a glass of wine.

Her work has appeared on 100wordstory, Friday Flash Fiction, 101 Words, and Short Edition. Her story, “Too Late for Christmas Cards,” was a finalist in the 2021 Edinburgh Festival Friday Flash Fiction Competition.

Elizabeth Zahn is a pen name. She uses it to hide just a little, which she knows doesn’t make much sense since her picture is right here and her friends and family all know. But like many things in life, at some point it made perfect sense.
